In a local outpost in Concord, UnitedHealthcare officials announced that they are extending their contract with Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland so as to keep the pediatric hospital in its Bay Area network. The deal, which has been employed immediately, gives UnitedHealthcare’s commercial health plan enrollees continued in-network access to Children’s Oakland.
