In a recent report regarding health care developments, it was said that Senator Reid is planning to follow Speaker Pelosi’s lead and will also try to pass his Senate version of the liberal utopian health care plan.
The scheme’s target is of course to cover the uninsured. However, it looks like that this plan will increase current policy rates. He said health care reform would lower costs by itself, but he’s now considering huge tax increases on small business to pay the price.
With all these inconsistent statements, many people are now making moves to show their frustration with the government, specifically to Sen. Reid. As reported in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a group has launched Nevada Health Care Choice Committee. It aims to put the Reid health care plan on the ballot for the people to vote next November.
They are also encouraging other states to take action and to fight back this government-run health care reform. Arizona, in particular is proposing a constitutional amendment that would preserve the rights of citizens to choose their health plan. And similar efforts have started in swing states like Florida, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
