With the continuous problem we encounter in Health Care, finally here’s some good news to share. Kaiser Permanente and a coalition of community health clinics are volunteering to save the Healthy Kids program, which serves more than 8,000 uninsured children in Sonoma County’s low-income families. The program had been in jeopardy since last summer due to state budget cuts that aims to save money by gradually eliminating health coverage to many children.

Under the plan, uninsured children who are eligible for health services will be served either at the clinics or at Kaiser Permanente medical offices.
